Day-by-Day Itinerary

A carefully planned 12-14 day adventure through the best of Nepal’s Annapurna region.

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu

Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel. Spend the day resting

Day 2: Kathmandu Sightseeing & Trek Preparation

Explore Kathmandu’s cultural landmarks, including Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, and Patan Durbar Square. Complete trekking preparations, permits, and a detailed briefing for the ABC trek.

Day 3: Kathmandu to Pokhara

Travel from Kathmandu to Pokhara by road or flight. Upon arrival, enjoy the scenic beauty of Phewa Lake, relax at the Lakeside area, and witness the sunset from Sarangkot.

Day 4: Pokhara to Nayapul & Trek to Tikhedhunga

Drive to Nayapul and start the trek along the Modi Khola river, passing small villages and terraced fields before reaching Tikhedhunga (1,540 m). Overnight stay in a tea house.

Day 5: Trek to Ghorepani

Trek from Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani (2,860 m), moving through lush forests, rivers, and traditional villages. Ghorepani serves as the gateway for the famous Poon Hill sunrise.

Day 6: Poon Hill Sunrise & Trek to Tadapani

Wake up early to hike to Poon Hill (3,210 m) for panoramic sunrise views of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. Afterward, trek down to Tadapani (2,630 m) through dense rhododendron forests

Day 7: Trek to Chomrong

Continue trekking from Tadapani to Chomrong (2,170 m), a picturesque Gurung village. Cross suspension bridges, enjoy forest trails, and take in stunning mountain views.

Day 8: Trek to Himalaya / Deurali

Trek from Chomrong to Himalaya or Deurali (2,900–2,920 m), passing bamboo and oak forests, waterfalls, and small villages, preparing for higher altitude trekking.

Day 9: Trek to Machapuchhre Base Camp (MBC)

Trek from Himalaya/Deurali to MBC (3,700 m). The trail offers spectacular views of Machapuchhre and Annapurna South, surrounded by alpine terrain and rhododendron forests

Day 10: Trek to Annapurna Base Camp (ABC)

Ascend to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130 m), the highlight of the trek. Enjoy 360° panoramic views of Annapurna South, Machapuchhre, Hiunchuli, and surrounding glaciers. Overnight at ABC tea house.

Day 11: ABC to Bamboo / Jhinu Danda

Descend from ABC via MBC and Himalaya to Bamboo or Jhinu Danda (2,310 m). Optional relaxation in the natural hot springs at Jhinu Danda. Overnight stay in a tea house.

Day 12: Trek to Pokhara

Trek from Bamboo or Jhinu Danda to Nayapul and drive back to Pokhara (820 m). Spend the evening exploring Lakeside or relaxing by Phewa Lake.

Day 13: Pokhara to Lumbini

Drive from Pokhara to Lumbini (150 m), the birthplace of Lord Buddha. Visit Maya Devi Temple, Ashokan Pillar, monastic zones, and Lumbini Garden. Overnight stay in Lumbini.

Day 14: Lumbini to Kathmandu / Departure

Drive or fly back to Kathmandu and transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport for onward journey, concluding your 14-day adventure combining trekking, sightseeing, and spiritual exploration.
