Your journey begins with a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi, passing through winding mountain roads, terraced fields, and rural villages. Enjoy views of hills, rivers, and glimpses of the Himalayas as you enter the Langtang region.
The trek starts along the Langtang River, crossing suspension bridges and passing through dense forests of bamboo and rhododendron. You may spot wildlife like monkeys along the trail as you gradually ascend to Lama Hotel.
Continue trekking through forests before the valley opens up, offering stunning mountain views. Pass traditional settlements and yak pastures before reaching Langtang Village, a culturally rich Tamang settlement rebuilt after the 2015 earthquake.
A shorter yet scenic hike takes you to Kyanjin Gompa, surrounded by majestic snow-capped peaks. Explore the monastery, local cheese factory, and enjoy breathtaking views of Langtang Lirung.
Wake early for an optional hike to Kyanjin Ri for a spectacular sunrise over the Langtang Himalayas. Spend the rest of the day exploring the valley, glaciers, and enjoying the serene alpine environment.
After breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu. The return journey offers more scenic views of hills, rivers, and rural Nepalese life.
